CONTEST RULES

Contest entrants must reside in the US or Canada.

Below are the guidelines for the creation and submission of the banners:

CONTEST CATEGORIES

1. There will be two categories: animated and non-animated. Banners in both categories MUST be 350px wide and 100px high (no clipping):

CATEGORY 1 - ANIMATED GIF or SWF

Animated banners must be in GIF or SWF format.
You MUST use the entire dimension size for whatever one you choose (no clipping).

CATEGORY 2 - NON ANIMATED JPG or GIF

Non-animated banners must be in JPG or GIF format.
You MUST use the entire dimension size for whatever one you choose (no clipping).

Sample Size

There is no restriction to file size, but we ask that you try to keep them below 200K so they are useable on the web. Keep this in mind, if your banner doesn't load quickly, some voters may not wait for them to download and vote for a faster loading banner instead.

One entry, per person, per category. In other words, you can enter twice, once in each category.

IMAGES

2. Images for banners can be obtained from any trailer or gallery image (with the exception of video journals and the images from those journals). You may blend them and artistically apply them to the final banner as you see fit. A PNG file of the 300 logo can be downloaded HERE.

The WB logo, available HERE, MUST also appear on the banner.

You may not "brand" your banner with any personal initials, etc. All entries, for the purpose of fair voting, will remain anonymous until after voting is completed.

BANNER TEXT

3. The following three lines MUST appear on the banners:

300

In Theaters March 9 or March 9, 2007 or In Theaters/IMAX March 9

www.300themovie.com

4. If you wish to use extra tag lines (although it is not required), you can choose any of the following:

Tonight We Dine In Hell
Prepare for Glory
Feel the Wrath in IMAX
Coming Soon

5. You may include text names of the members of the cast in the banners.

Gerard Butler should be credited ABOVE the title of the film
if you choose to include it on your banner.

Below are some examples for size and animation examples. Images are from the first video journal, which are not eligible for the contest.
