Gerard currently produces projects through his production company, G-BASE, with his longtime manager, Alan Siegel. G-BASE is repped by CAA and Gray Krauss Stratford Sandler Des Rochers LLP.
Butler and Siegel, who have worked together for 11 years and have several projects in development. Danielle Robinson serves as director of development for the company.
The first project from the company is Law Abiding Citizen, which opened in the United States on October 16, 2009 (distributor Overture Films). The film grossed $21.3 million in its opening weekend and showed the strongest audience exit polls ever for Overture to date (source). Visit the project page of the film for more information.
G-BASE is behind upcoming feature London Has Fallen (Gramercy/ Millennium), the sequel to box office hit Olympus Has Fallen. They recently finished shooting The Headhunter’s Calling for director Mark Williams and Voltage Films in Toronto.
