NEW ZEALAND - Openings begin October 5. Click here for a complete list. Thanks to Nicola Painter for the information on her efforts to get the film shown in NZ.
They also are operating in conjunction with Chiwi Travel and Tours. Chiwi currently organises group travel around New Zealand, including visits to Lord of the Rings locations plus general New Zealand tourism locations throughout the North and South Islands. As part of a special package they will custom-build tours to suit which will include a private screening of Beowulf at exclusive venues. Phoenix Cinema, 52 High Road, East Finchley, London, N2 9PJ on Saturday 9th September 2006 at 3:45pm. Tickets will cost £10.00 (£8.00 concessions). This will be a DVD screening using a projector onto the big screen. However the theatre has said they have a good quality projector and it stands up well on the big screen.
