It should be more historically accurate and without the porn that's in this trailer, with Gerard Butler playing the role of Cassius Chaerea who actually assassinated Caligula. It would be a character driven role that would utilize to the fullest his great acting abilities. Just do it! I believe a remake of Caligula, "LIttle Boots", with Gerard Butler, as Cassius Chaerea would be a great film. Perhaps, in the future it will be done..in a more historical , more visual adaption of Rome's landscape and beauty , also more information on the Roman Empire, and the consequences of Caligula's madness, and what created this monster. I know the original was rather, well, raw. But, I'm sure if they were to keep these performers(those that don't have any hangups regarding the content and minus Courtney Love), it wouldn't be a bad movie.
