Every year so many of you want to wish Gerard a Happy Valentine’s Day, we at GerardButler.Net strive to make those wishes also benefit those in need. Instead of sendings cards and gifts, we ask that you use the same amount you would have spent on those things and donate it toKids Kicking Cancer. 02-10-11: An Unbelievable TEN Years with Gerard Butler!

WOW, we can’t believe it, but it’s true …. Gerard Butler Dot Net is celebrating its TEN year anniversary! We can’t believe it’s been 10 years since three friends decided to create a place for people to learn about a little-known actor who played Dracula and Attila.  How time flies and how things change!!!  We couldn’t be happier to still be here and still supporting a man we have come to call “friend” through all his success and hard work.

Of course, we wouldn’t be here without the countless hours of help from volunteers who help manage our gallery, news and newsletter.  We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the countless contributions from fans across the globe who send in their pictures and news finds.  We couldn’t do what we do without the continued support of Gerry, Alan Siegel, Danielle Robinson (thanks guys!!) and the film professionals who send us project news and updates!!

11-08-10: Virtual Birthday Card for Gerard

It’s that time of year again!!  Time to wish Gerard the best for another successful year as his birthday fast approaches.  We’ve set up our annual Virtual Birthday Card for everyone to leave their messages (one per person please).   We will leave it open for entries until November 15, 2010.

 
Gerard, Russell Crowe and Adrien Brody all came out in support of Artists for Peace and Justice ‘s “Let’s Build a School for Haiti” fundraiser in New York City on Friday, November 5.  The event raised over $700,000 in support os APJ’s rebuilding of schools for Haiti.  View more…

GerardButler.Net continues to receive Amazon.com commissions to help support the website expenses, but those commissions are down with the economic challenges of the times.  While our hosting fees are covered, we still have expenses like domain registrations, postal mailbox, postage for contest winners and our newsletter service. These expenses total close to $750. Looking forward to 2011, we would love to cover those charges now and donate the Amazon.com commissions to charity at the end of the year.  If you would like to help support the website, click here.  As of today, $350 has been donated.  Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!!   Every little bit helps and thank you so very much for all your support in the past.  Without you, the fans, we would not still be here close to 10 years after we began!!
