MOD POST
Due to health problems the last few months, and other real life situations, I feel it is necessary to put gerrychallenge on temporary hiatus. I've mulled this over in my mind and really didn't want to do it, but feel it is best for now. I'm hoping to be able to start up fresh again in a few weeks when I can devote more time to the community.

The banners for the last challenge are way overdue...I am working on them and will hopefully have them ready soon. Thank you for your understanding and patience with me.

Extending challenge
It has been requested that I extend the challenge for a while.  Having had real life issues the past few months myself, I understand how those things can take up our fun time so I'm more than willing to do so.  

Normally I would extend only a few days, but because this is such a busy time with people on vacation, etc, and the Fourth of July holiday  coming up for many of us, I'm extending the challenge for a little over 2 weeks. 

The new deadline for our Magazine and Publicity challenge is Wednesday, July 7, 10 p.m. EST.   I hope this will help many of you and that you'll be able to join in and enter our challenge.

Be sure to go see Gerry's new movie, How To Train Your Dragon, this Friday, March 26! It looks like it's going to be a really cute movie. It will be a while until Gerry has something new come out; he will start filming Shakespeare's Coriolanus with Ralph Fiennes in Serbia real soon.




Gerry has had a busy year so far with 2 award shows and 3 movie premieres. There are so many nice pictures of him all dressed up that I thought we'd use those for this challenge.

I don't know about you but I've had enough of winter...the long, dreary, snowy days - I am so ready for spring to come and to see the flowers bloom again.

Gerry has been having fun lately playing in the sunshine, so I thought to warm us all up a bit, we'd have a challenge using a few pictures showing his very sexy self having fun while he's keeping nice and warm. Gerry needs this down time since he'll be starting his new movie Coriolanus with Ralph Fiennes next month. He has definitely been working out to get into shape for it. *thud*!!

I have provided a few pictures taken within the last couple of weeks, and also a few older ones. If you've seen others that you'd like to use feel free to do so.

The long hiatus is finally over...
I am really sorry that our holiday break has been so long, it was not intended. Since early January I have been laid up with an inflamed chest wall, which is pretty painful. I have spent most of my time in bed as I couldn't sit for very long at a time. It's better, but there are still bad days...hopefully it will be gone, or better, soon.

In the meantime, admiralsphantom (capathon) will be posting a new challenge real soon. I hope everyone is ready to get going again and join us for our new challenge! I'm looking forward to seeing you all enter again!

The banners for our last challenge will hopefully be done soon, again I apologize for the long wait.
