Challenge 107 - Fun in the Sun
Again, I apologize for the extended delay in getting this challenge done. I hope you are all still with us and as many that are able will take part to give us a good start again.

I don't know about you but I've had enough of winter...the long, dreary, snowy days - I am so ready for spring to come and to see the flowers bloom again.

Gerry has been having fun lately playing in the sunshine, so I thought to warm us all up a bit, we'd have a challenge using a few pictures showing his very sexy self having fun while he's keeping nice and warm. Gerry needs this down time since he'll be starting his new movie Coriolanus with Ralph Fiennes next month. He has definitely been working out to get into shape for it. *thud*!!

I have provided a few pictures taken within the last couple of weeks, and also a few older ones. If you've seen others that you'd like to use feel free to do so.

The long hiatus is finally over...
I am really sorry that our holiday break has been so long, it was not intended. Since early January I have been laid up with an inflamed chest wall, which is pretty painful. I have spent most of my time in bed as I couldn't sit for very long at a time. It's better, but there are still bad days...hopefully it will be gone, or better, soon.

In the meantime, admiralsphantom (capathon) will be posting a new challenge real soon. I hope everyone is ready to get going again and join us for our new challenge! I'm looking forward to seeing you all enter again!

The banners for our last challenge will hopefully be done soon, again I apologize for the long wait.

Challenge 106 - Oh, the weather outside is frightful....
Information for Challenge 106 is under the cut, the deadline for entries is Friday, December 18, midnight EST.

Because everyone gets busy with the holidays, this will be our last challenge of the year, we will return in early January. I hope you will all join in for our challenge.

Early entries are good ;) - since the deadline is so near to Christmas, I am hoping we don't need an extension.




Christmas will be here before we know it - just last night I was Christmas shopping with my daughter-in-law; she was finishing up her shopping, but I haven't even started yet!

Since Christmas is so near capathon and I thought that this would be a good time for a Gerry Christmas challenge.

--Your challenge is to make icons reflecting the holiday or winter in some way.
--There is no limit - make as many icons as you like!
--Blending is allowed, as well as other effects, including animation.
--Icons must meet LJ standards of 100x100 pixels and no more than 40kb file size.
--Please remember to submit both the icon and the URL.

I have provided a few pictures from different photo shoots and events for the challenge, but you may use your own favorites of Gerry if you like. Pictures used may also be from any of Gerry's movies.

Challenge 105: Suits With Headshots
Information for Challenge 105 is under the cut. The deadline for entries is 10 p.m. EST, Friday, November 20th. For this challenge, we are having a special banner for best cropping on headshot.

You can use these and other similar images from recent premieres that have Gerry wearing a suit. Headshots are the main focus on this challenge so I hope I picked a good variety of pictures. All submissions must be LJ standards (.png, gifl, and .jpg/ .jpeg).

On a side note, I recently saw LAC - yeah better late than never. Aside from the scene involving Clyde removing lim to lim and the blood shown (and the after mas of the remains), I liked the film. Digging tunnels. Such dedication.. :D
