The titel was changed to “citizen game” as frequently happens when it was decided that this titel was more original and was less similar as meny recent movie titels which refer to game in the titel ie “the end game” the bottom line is simple .they could titel it any thing but what really counts is the box office and how meny people see it and like it.good luck to gerrys new movie!!! we are backing a great guy

Since i was an agent and publiscist to the fans of gerard butler keep backing his career. he has great charisma and far to go and part of how far he goes depends on folks like you

  4. sorry I got carried away and forgot the topic…..Citizen Game reminds me right away of citizen Kane, and Game is kind of a plain name. But I don’t know why they used the word Citizen, I don’t think it really fits Game from what I know about it. But i would be glad to discuss it with Gerry, anytime LOL

  5. Gerry………you always look awesome to me, but if you ever need to kick back and relax totally, just give me a call LOL
Gerry is the most gracious, sweet man and has also turned this grandmom into a fan (never before) I was speechless in Philly so Gerry if you ever read this….Thank You for the picture I will treasure it forever, and I hope my Hubby didn’t scare you when he thanked you for posing for a picture for me so I would stop bugging him to take me to Philly while you were there. I never thought I would ever meet you but you made this fan’s dream come true. Thank you for being you.

I’m his one and only gal he needs to relax with.

I guess I needed to sleep on the new title for GAME LOL I just realized that the new title means we will see Gerry in 2 movies in one year that have the word “Citizen” in the title. “Citizen Game” and “Law Abiding Citizen.” I think I like just GAME again for the title of the movie LOL

  9. Not keen on the name. Game was too general but Citizen Game isn’t much better. (Reminds me of Citizen Kane!) I was kind of hoping it was an April Fool’s joke but it wasn’t April 1st at that point!

I like the name change to “Citizen Game” it fits well and it will not be confused with any other film. I wish they would have decided on it a little earlier in the movie’s promotion, but they still have 6 months to get the job done.

Gerry looked great – thanks for the photos and all the great up-dates.

I like the name change as I thought “Game” was too general.

Yeh, Gerry does look a bit tired, but still gorgeous anyway. He must be exhausted from working on LAC. Plus I guess he needed to look a little bit rough for his role in LAC…don’t suppose he could have had groomed hair, be clean shaven or have a tan playing a psychopathic mastermind who’s been in prison.

Gerry take a holiday if you get a chance between projects and chill out. We don’t care what you look like, just want you to look after yourself. Happy to help in any way!

  12. He looks fine – a transatlantic flight is bound to be a little wearing. Someday a picture will be posted and NOBODY will say, ‘He looks, tired. He looks ill. He looks bored. He looks anything but his own terrific self.’ I don’t expect to live that long, however. . . :LOL

“Citizen Game” is great – I was happy with “Game” – but what ever you call it I will come! You’ve managed to turn this grandmother into a ‘fanboy’, Gerry! I’m looking forward to this very much.

Congrats again on RNR’s award and ready for The Ugly Truth and everything else you’ve got for us!

I was thinking the same thing. He looks tired. Hope he gets some rest. I’m not sure I like the name Citizen Game. Don’t really care what they call it just as long as Gerry is in it!!!

I like the name change, if it’s real. It sounds like a play on “Citizen Kane”. Very clever.

  15. I agree. He looks a little different. But those filming schedules can really be harsh!

    Hi,

Does anyone else think that Gerry is looking a little tired or under the weather? I hope nothing is wrong. Maybe he just needs some R&R after working so hard on LAC. I am just concerned about my Gerry.
Ger, if you ever read this and need someone to relax with you, I am your girl! LOL!! no, I serious, really….
