The honor couldn’t go to a better person. You are Glaswegian through and through, so they’ve chosen the right person. Good on ya, Mr. B!

  2. I live here in Glasgow and he is a great candidate for amasador, he has always stayed true to his city and hasnt changed. Glasgow and surrounding areas…..(even Paisley) are beutiful places to film movies and if more happens because of Gerard Butler thats great.

Down the river Clyde near Port Glasgow and Greenock is where a lot of Dear Frankie was filmed and it really is a beautiful place.

I HAVE A PREGUNT OR RATHER A DOUBT. YOUR NAME GERARD BUTLER IS ALONE YOUR ARTISTIC NAME OR IS YOUR ORIGINAL NAME?.
MANY ACTORS WHEN DO NOT WANT THE ARTISTIC NAME ARE IN THE HABIT OF PUTTING ON THE SURNAME OF HIS(HER,YOUR) MOTHER. IT(HE) IS THIS YOUR I MARRY?. A GREETING FROM SPAIN AND I WAIT FOR A PROMPT RESPONSE….A VERY STRONG EMBRACE

I believe this is a win win for both Gerry and Glasgow. By working together they can promote both filming in Glasgow and Gerry’s career. He’s always said he is what he is because of growing up in Glasgow and the surrounding area. Fantastic news!
