Last year we had The Omen remake, which broke box office records. So don't avoid these like the plague, either — I've got the inside chapter-and-verse on two different, yet theologically-themed, horror flicks:
First up is Priest, starring the super-studly Gerard Butler as a man of the cloth (hey, kind of like the man of the loincloth he's playing in 300!) hunting vampires in what he describes as a "post-apocalyptic western." Priest is directed by Andrew Douglas (The Amityville Horror remake), is based on the graphic novel by Min-Woo Hyung, and is expected sometime in 2008.
