Reign of Fire: Hollywood is once again distorting reality, though this time rather wierdly according to the British media yesterday. Disney's mega-budget dragon adventure with Matthew McConaughey is currently filming in the snow capped mountain peaks of Ireland, an area doubling for Norfolk, England where the film is set. In reality however, Norfolk is famous for being England's flattest county with its highest point a mere 100m above sea level. A local man who visited the set said "I couldn't believe what I was reading when I saw how the film featured a castle on top of a mountain in Norfolk. I tried to explain that they were making a terrible mistake, but they just shrugged their shoulders and said it was a small detail. Their view was that the film wold be seen by 200 million people across the world and only about two million would know that Norfolk is flat". Not anymore it would seem.
