Timeline: With the strike over, the Paramount feature based on Michael Crichton's novel looks like it may be moving ahead fast. We already know for fact Richard Donner will helm, but now the casting rumours have begun with 'Mike D' weighing in with a scoop which sounds relatively reasonable. Gerard Butler ("Dracula 2000") and Kate Beckinsale ("Pearl Harbor") are allegedly up for the roles of 'Marek' and 'Kate' - though its the third part which is proving interesting casting. Amongst the three apparent choices for 'Chris' are Kip Pardue ("Driven"), Tom Welling (the new Clark Kent in the WB's upcoming "Smallville"), and NZ actor Martin Henderson whose best known for his role in the Aussie TV series "Sweat" which was also the debut gig of one Heath Ledger. Thanks to 'Mike D'.
