SCOTS hunk Gerry Butler has told how he has preferred working in run-down parts of Glasgow than in Hong Kong with sexy Angelina Jolie.
The screen star has been helping the Tomb Raider babe with the second installment of the film. But the hotshot, who is tipped to be the next James Bond, admitted the Hollywood life was getting too much for him. The 32-year-old has now swapped the glitz for his latest movie, Natural History, which is filmed in Govan Town Hall. The all-Scottish production makes a radical change for the star, and co star Emily Mortimer, 31.
Paisley-born Butler said: "Sometimes you might not be particularly close with your leading lady and that actually gives a different kind of chemistry on screen."
The actor, who is also starring in the Billy Connolly sci-fi thriller Timeline, added: "I have done a lot of those bigger budget things, but they start to do your head in after a while."
