SCOTS actor Gerard Butler says he gets annoyed when people ask if he's the next James Bond.
The actor, touted for the role along with Rory McCann, said: 'I'm starting to get tired of hearing that but like what I always say, it's not true.'
Gerard, who stars in Phantom of the Opera, also admitted it was an ordeal getting into character for the role.
He said: 'It killed me. My least favourite part of this job. I've done prosthetics before and sometimes I think I'd prefer to be shot in head than go through them.
'Actually, get panicked knowing I'm going in to it.'
