Based on the novel by Cecilia Ahern, the story centers on a widow (Swank) whose life is rejuvenated when letters left by her husband (Butler) send her on a series of adventures. LaGravenese and Steve Rodgers adapted the novel for the screen.
Kudrow will star as one of Swank's best friends. Morgan will play a love interest role opposite Swank as an Irish singer whom her character falls for in Dublin.
Shooting is scheduled to begin this fall in New York and Ireland.
