Category: Reign of Fire News Posted by: admin Hollywood actors Christian Bale (American Psycho) and Matthew McConaughey (A Time to Kill) have confirmed they will be the two lead stars in the upcoming blockbuster Reign of Fire which is being shot in Ireland next year. This has knocked out rumours that Arnold Schwarzenegger was due to appear in the £50 million movie which is being shot in March between Dublin and Belfast.

Producers of Reign of Fire subsequently told the Irish Mirror that Schwarzenegger would not be appearing in the movie.
Gerry Lundberg the films Irish publicist said "Principle photography on Reign of fire is due to begin filming in March 2001. Filming is scheduled to take place in various locations in Dublin, Wicklow and Northern Ireland."
He continued "Reign of Fire will be directed by acclaimed director Rob Bowman whose films have included The X-Files and Airborne. The film is a co-production between Spyglass Entertainment, Touchstone Pictures, World 2000 and Grosvenor Park UK.
