How to Lose Friends and Alienate People - I'm a big fan of Simon Pegg. I'm not sure if this is going to be a gut-buster comedy, but I'm confident it will be funny and even probably have a good non-comedic storyline to enjoy.
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist - Michael Cera is a good enough reason to go see a movie in my opinion, that kid's on-screen persona is just funny to watch... a good script is just icing on the cake. This should be a good one.
Religulous - Hell Yes! I am definitely going to go see this. Maher has stated this is a comedy, not a documentary. I doubt many religious people will see this, but hey, if you are up for it, it should be really good. I've heard the very first person he interviews is his own mom. Balls!?
Body of Lies - I'm not a big fan of the war-drama genre, but with Russell Crowe and Leanardo DiCaprio in the lead roles for this movie, I may not be able to avoid it.
City of Ember - I'm surprised I haven't seen more advertising for this movie. From what I've seen it looks like it will be good and seems like it has an interesting concept/story, so I will likely see this one.
Humboldt County - Guy reinvents himself by living in a pot-growing community or something like that. It's like a drama version of Pineapple Express... we shall see.
Max Payne - News from the director was that they were able to get the MPAA to give them the PG-13 rating they wanted with very little actual changes to the movie as he originally shot it. Which is good news. This is one I will definitely be seeing.
W. - I am going to go see this movie, if for nothing else, but to feed my curiosity. Watching the preview I can't figure out if it's supposed to be a real legitimate look into his life, or a total comedy. The actors could go both ways as well because they have all done both sides of that coin, which makes it that much more intriguing to me. A definite see.
Sex Drive - Comedy-wise, this is the go to for October (Zack and Miri make a Porno is up there too, but I've been waiting for this one specifically). I'm excited to see James Marsden do a comedic role, because it looks like he nails it. I've also had a mini-crush on Amanda Crew from when I saw her in She's the Man (what? no... I do not own that movie!) and am glad to see her get a bigger part and move along in her career.
HSM3 - I'm a musical freak, but c'mon... really!?
Passengers - Just barely heard of this one... Anne Hathaway and Patrick Wilson are both actors that I like, but I don't know if it's going to be enough to get me to see this.
Pride and Glory - Edward Norton and Colin Farrell. No more need be said.
RocknRolla - Gerard Butler has got to be the sexiest man on the planet. He has played the seductive and dark Phantom of the Opera... thus simultaneously showing that besides being a great actor, he is an amazing singer. Then he played the extremely ripped and deadly King Leonidas in 300. Throw in a few sensitive roles in Dear Frankie and P.S. I Love You and I just don't think anyone else has as much volume of juice that women want running through their veins as Gerard Butler. He's a badass and I will see this movie mostly just because he is in it.
Zack and Miri Make a Porno - What can I say? This movie is edgy and the previews look hilarious. I love Seth Rogen and I'm excited to see Elizabeth Banks in some more comedies.
