Relativity to Distribute Marc Forster's 'Machine Gun Preacher'

Relativity Media is taking over U.S. distribution of Marc Forster’s Machine Gun Preacher from Lionsgate. The film will be released in the fall.
The film, starring Gerard Butler and Michele Monaghan, is a biopic of Sam Childers. The $30 million production was independently financed.
Sources say Lionsgate has a packed fall release schedule. It will still release the action movie internationally.
Relativity needs product for its distribution pipeline and has been aggressively pursuing projects.
