Stiles will try on a Scottish accent for the role of Jean Armour, the poet's muse and true love. Gerard Butler ("Phantom of the Opera") plays Burns. Pic, scheduled to shoot in spring, will be directed by Vadim Jean from a script by Alan Sharp.
Other cast members include Brian Cox, John Hannah, James McAvoy, James Cosmo, David O'Hara and David Hayman.
