Gerard is gearing up for the European press tour for Law Abiding Citizen. Personal appearances at the premieres of the film in Oslo, Norway (November 4) and Glasgow, Scotland (November 15 – Glasgow Cineworld – Renfrew Street – no public ticket sales) are already on the schedule (personal appearance are always subject to change). If any European fans hear of other public appearances along with television, magazine or news interviews, feel free to drop us a note using our contact form.

CHARITY COOKBOOK
For the past four years we have put together a charity cookbook for fans. All proceeds go to Kids Kicking Cancer. Recipe submissions were down last year, but we are willing to put together a 2009 version if there is enough interest. Vote below and if you have suggestions about themes for this years edition, send us an email at fans @ gerardbutler.net.

Our annual charity cookbook and holiday ornament (mugs and travel mugs too!) are now available for purchase at CafePress!Â Â All proceeds go to Kids Kicking Cancer. Many, many thanks to everyone who contributed to this year’s recipe book!Â For each cookbook purchased, an entry form is included to win an autographed item from Gerry!Â Your continued support is genuinely appreciated!!

The 2008 Birthday Charity Campaign has reached another milestone with over $5000 raised for Kids Kicking Cancer!!Â Thank you for your generosity.Â $4500 has already been sent to KKC and Rabbi G sends his thanks below:

The campaign will remain open until December 31, 2008.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
After her long service as GB.Net Gallery Manager, Gieselle has decided to step down effective December 12.Â We cannot thank her enough for her diligence and careful management of our gallery over these past few years. As a result, we are now looking for a few volunteers to fill her shoes.Â Â Experience working with images in Photoshop is preferred, but anyone willing to research the internet for new pics, screencap DVDs and video interviews and work with the many people who regularly contribute to our gallery will be considered.Â Â Email us at fans @ gerardbutler.net if you are interested.

WOW! We are EXTREMELY grateful for the tremendous support of our Annual Birthday Charity Campaign and Kids Kicking Cancer! We have EXCEEDED OUR GOAL again with a net donation amount of $4234.98 and will keep the campaign open until December 31, 2008 for anyone who would like to help us exceed the goal even more!

Today is the deadline to submit recipes for our Annual Charity Cookbook, which will also benefit Kids Kicking Cancer.Â To date, we have over 60 recipes for this year’s theme “Party Favorites”, but we could sure use more!!Â So, we will extend the deadline to Monday, November 17 for submissions.

2009 promises to be an exciting year for KKC and we are proud that the Gerard Butler Dot Net Charity Group can be a part of it. Below, we continue to share more about their mission with our visitors and how it can benefit not only the children but every one of us.
