KIDS KICKING CANCER CHARITY CAMPAIGN
We are in the home stretch of our charity campaign for Kids Kicking Cancer.  To date, over 960 donations have been made totaling more than $37,000!!  What an outstanding show of generosity!!  Thank you so much for your support to this very worthy cause.  There is still time to donate and enter your donation receipt for a chance to have dinner with Gerry.  Donation receipts will be accepted by us until February 14, 2010.  If you are mailing a check, it much be RECEIVED before February 14, so get it in the mail early.  We have already chosen 12 recipients for the gifts being offered.  All recipients have been emailed, but you can check the entry page for the names of the lucky fans.

HAITIAN EARTHQUAKE RELIEF
While the above campaign is our primary charity focus at the moment, we would be remiss in not mentioning how much help is needed in the way of donations for the earthquake victims in Haiti.  If you would like to help, we recommend any of the following charities:

• Habitat for Humanity (Effort focuses on housing needs)
• American Red Cross (Supports emergency relief and recovery efforts)
• UNICEF (100% of donations go to relief aid)

Gerard and other celebrities have joined with Entertainment Tonight and the American Red Cross to film Haitian relief effort public service announcements to air on ET. (News via Twitter)

Publicity has begun for Dreamworks’ How To Train Your Dragon, opening March 26, 2010.  Gerard and Craig Ferguson have been hard at work tag teaming bloggers and reporters in preparation for the films release.  Check the latest news and interviews here.

OMG! Yahoo has placed Gerard at #3 on their 25 Hottest Hunks in Hollywood list!  Only Josh Brolin and David Beckham placed higher.  Congrats Gerry!  The world is FINALLY discovering what we already knew! 

Gerard will be a guest at the much-anticipated, grand opening of Dubai’s most luxurious resort and newest icon, Atlantis The Palm, this Thursday.  This information has been confirmed by Alan Siegel Entertainment. Gerard joins other A-listers like Robert De Niro, Denzel Washington and Oprah Winfrey for the red carpet event marking the official launch of the landmark and its flagship resort. Read more…

The 2008 Gerard’s Grove & Phantom’s Phorest Un-raffle is in its final days. To date, the combined efforts of past campaigns and the 2008 campaign has raised over $27,400. That’s a fantastic grand total of 2,813 trees!

In a message on the Grove for Gerard Butler webpage, Alan Watson Featherstone, Trees for Life’s Executive Director wrote: “I’m deeply touched by the tremendous support of the fans of Gerard Butler, who have donated trees for what is by far the biggest grove we’ve yet had sponsored in the Caledonian Forest. Well done and thank you to everybody.”
