10-22-10: Gerard to Exec Produce ‘Pinkerton’ for STARZ

Gerard has added another producing project to his list of upcoming work.  This time he teams with Bob Cochran (creator of 24) to tell the tale of a man who saved a sitting American president in real life: Allan Pinkerton.  They will be developing Pinkerton, a 8-10-hour limited series for Starz about the famous spy and detective. Starz has commissioned a pilot script and a bible for the project, a fictionalized retelling of the exploits of Pinkerton, creator of the Pinkerton National Detective Agency, the first detective agency in the U.S.  Read more…

09-29-10: Production Company Updates, The Septembers of Shiraz

Gerard’s production company has acquired the film rights to the critically-acclaimed novel, The Septembers of Shiraz, by Dalia Sofer.  Gerard will be producing with Alan Siegel, but will not star in the film.  Read more…

The film Slide has been retitled Playing the Field.  As previously reported, the film’s sport has also shifted from baseball to soccer.  Read more…
