LAW ABIDING CITIZEN

In the good news department for Law Abiding Citizen, Overture Films has finalized an agreement to release LAC  from Mark Gill and Neil Sacker’s Film Department in 2010.  Read more…

The movie has also added another member to their cast.  Oscar nominee Viola Davis has  joined the cast (another Oscar nom/winner to add to Gerard’s impressive “one degree of Oscar” resume! ).  The announcement was made by Overture Films’ CEO Chris McGurk and COO Danny Rosett along with Mark Gill and Neil Sacker of The Film Department.

“What a fantastic cast,” said McGurk. “We are thrilled to partner with The Film Department on such an intriguing project and hope this is just the beginning of a long and successful relationship.”

In our continued efforts to update and build a more interactive experience for our visitors, we are moving our movie database to a new platform where you can rate the films and participate in polls right in the film profiles.  The new complete listing is easier to sort as well.  The first third of the films have already been moved so feel free to browse and rate Gerry’s greatest hits!

ZACK SNYDER BRINGS US MORE 300!

A limited collectors edition of 300 will be released on November 18, just in time for the holiday season.  The new 300 Limited Collector’s Edition, available only while supplies last, will include all the spectacular special features previously available on the Two Disc Special Edition but now adds a bonus disc containing a new documentary To The Hot Gates: A Legend Retold, a comprehensive and dynamic description of the process filmmakers followed to take an ancient legend through a graphic novel and finally realizing it as a feature film. In addition, there is a bonus Digital Copy of the film, a 52-page hardcover art book with a personal message from Snyder, a lucite display with motion film image and six collectible photo cards.
